Graebel Board of Directors Receives Distinction as Private Company Board of the Year Winner

At a time when global organizations are facing consolidation and disruptive change, I believe there has never been a better time to be a private, family-owned, people-first company.

That’s why I’m honored to announce that the Graebel Board of Directors has been recognized by MLR Media, publishers of Private Company Director, Family Business and Directors & Boards, as a 2022 Private Company Board of the Year. This annual award recognizes private company boards that serve stakeholders with best practices in governance that go far beyond what’s required. Graebel was one of six companies selected this year.

This award is particularly meaningful as it acknowledges the essential role of the board members who have helped guide our company through times of rapid and sustained change. Through recessions or the pandemic, Graebel’s focus has not wavered; we are committed to putting people — clients, their mobile employees, supplier partners, and our employees — first.

Our board exemplifies stability in a rapidly changing world and each member embodies the company’s values of truth, love, and integrity. I’m proud to work alongside them as they challenge and support our company in delivering exceptional experiences for mobile employees. It’s through the board’s guidance, which we see reflected in our employees’ work and their duty of care around the world, that we can say Graebel continues to redefine success.

Lars Lykke Iversen, a Graebel board member with 33 years of global mobility experience, had this to say: “The complexity of global mobility requires a board that is proactive in staying current on global events and business trends, has a respectful working relationship with leadership, and is constantly seeking ways to improve, no matter the obstacle. I am proud of the efforts of my fellow Graebel board members as we support each other and this company in navigating the ever-evolving global business world.”

When I spoke with Ron Dunlap, president of Graebel Companies, he shared similar sentiments: “This award proves what I have known to be true about our Board of Directors. Each member brings experience, focus, and a willingness to support us and our fellow employees at every turn. I’m grateful for their dedication to our company, clients, and employees.”

I look forward to continued collaboration with our board in the years ahead while living our values and providing exceptional experiences to our clients and their mobile employees.

Here’s to the world ahead®.
