Graebel Companies welcomed over 200 Partners from over 40 countries to their 22nd Annual Partner Alliance Conference October 17-19 at The Westin - Denver International Airport in Colorado. The in-person event brought representatives from our network of partner mobility service providers to learn, share information, and recognize significant achievements within their industry. The two-day event featured client and partner panel discussions, breakout industry brainstorm sessions, and networking cocktail hours, bringing insight and connections among attendees.
This year’s theme, “Be Remarkable” surpassed expectations. The 2021-2022 year was indeed remarkable in the Mobility Industry, seeing unprecedented growth during unprecedented times. In opening remarks, SVP of Global Supplier Development Andrew Pierce reflected on the extraordinary accomplishments of our partners within another year where little was ordinary. Chairman and CEO Bill Graebel was welcomed to the stage and in a heart-felt welcome and thank you message to the attendees, he remarked that he ‘had goosebumps’ because of all that was happening in this industry and in that room. He echoed Andrew’s admiration for the recent work of partner companies around the globe, and their commitment to clients and their families.
Graebel’s Vice President of Partner Engagement, Pam Capecci, designed the event to included panel and roundtable sessions that offered attendees the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on our programs and ways to further boost a mobile employee’s journey. Panel discussions included topics like: Is Our Data Secure, Empowering the Front Lines, and Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Panelists included Graebel executives, leaders from: IBM, Kone, and Eli Lilly and Company, and executives from Graebel Partners: Dwellworks and Budd Van Lines. Attendees also sat together in roundtable discussions to explore opportunities, challenges and innovation trends within the Mobility Industry.
After the event, Pierce said, “The first in-person Graebel Partner Alliance Conference since 2019 did not disappoint! With greater than anticipated partner registration, well-planned and delivered sessions, and a high level of collaboration and energy, there’s a lot of momentum to build on as we look towards 2023. It was so wonderful to re-connect with familiar faces, share personal stories and business advice, and align our network for the year ahead.”
The Be Remarkable Alliance Conference featured an awards ceremony on the second evening that included acknowledgement of distinction in service, a variety of honorable mentions, and a special recognition of Graebel’s own Ben Ivory. Ivory has been with Graebel for over 40 years in various leadership roles, culminating in his most recent position as Senior Vice President of Sustainability. The room gave Ivory a standing ovation as he was welcomed to the stage and called a “face of the brand and soul of the organization.” The audience stayed standing as he thanked Graebel and thanked the partners in the room for all they did over the past year.
Among those thanked during the conference were the Sponsors, who we’d like to recognize again here. We extend our genuine appreciation to those companies who helped make this remarkable event possible: Gallagher Transport, Jacob Street, Risk Strategies and MSS.
