Gearing up for insideMOBILITY Atlanta

As the global mobility industry prepares for its first major event of 2020, Graebel’s Beth Pasiak explains why Atlanta is the perfect venue.

While parts of the US contend with snowstorms and freezing temperatures, Atlanta in late February is mild and pleasant, with plenty of things to see and do outdoors. So, why not escape the winter gloom?

If you’re a mobility professional looking to expand your network and knowledge, sign up now for insideMOBILITY Atlanta. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues while sampling the culture and cuisine of our great city.

Each year, Graebel hosts insideMOBILITY events around the world where leaders and innovators gather to learn about the latest in talent mobility and share secrets to success. Our Atlanta event will provide a friendly and supportive environment where you can hear tips and tricks from experts, learn new skills and gain exclusive industry insights.

Whether you’re a mobility newcomer or veteran, there’ll be something for everyone in Atlanta, with a variety of formats – including peer-to-peer breakout sessions, workshops and debates – to enable the most engaging of discussions and demonstrations.

Over the course of this must-attend event, you’ll find out how your organization can adapt and thrive in the new talent management landscape. You’ll have the chance to make new connections and talk to likeminded professionals. You’ll also learn how to craft effective mobility strategies and improve future outcomes, helping to drive impact at your organization.

What’s more, the schedule is flexible, so you can pick and choose the sessions that suit you best. Here are just some of the global topics we’ll be covering:

  • The Global Mobility Money Flow: Follow transactions to see who makes money,
    how much, where and when.
  • Relocation Technology: Look at industry tech solutions, such as lump sum management solutions and online cultural training.
  • The Complexity of International Policies: Hear how companies deal with issues such as Housing Norms and unique transportation challenges.
  • Blockchain in Global Mobility: Explore opportunities for using blockchain to support the mobility function.
  • Tackling Cross-Border Pension, Tax and Immigration Challenges: Learn about the strategies that work in cross-border arrangements.
  • Improving Assignment Accessibility: Find out how to remove barriers to inclusion around disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, family structure and more.

And of course, there’ll be plenty of downtime when you can experience the very best of Southern hospitality.

For those of you who are new to the city, you won’t be disappointed. Not only is Atlanta an epicenter of civil rights movements in the US, it also boasts a rich musical heritage. In fact, it’s sometimes referred to as the cultural capital of the new South. It’s also home to the busiest – and in my opinion best – passenger airport in the world. So, you’ll find a range of flight options for easy in and out travel.

Downtown, you can visit our impressive aquarium – the only place outside of Asia to house whale sharks. There’s also our 20-story Ferris Wheel and Centennial Olympic Park, home of the 1996 Olympic Games. And we’ve got a range of awesome museums, like the World of Coca-Cola, and unbeatable, award-winning restaurants.

Look out for the organized trips and activities we’ll be running in and around the insideMOBILITY sessions. Members of the Graebel Atlanta team will also be on hand to answer any questions and help you get the most from your visit.

We look forward to welcoming you to Atlanta – but first, take a look at the agenda and then register. It’s an event that will provide great memories, an enriching professional experience, and lasting value for your organization.
