Graebel Companies, Inc. Earns HRSI Diversity and Inclusion Certification

The achievement is a continuation of Graebel’s leadership in advancing DEI

Denver, Colo. (April 11, 2023) – Graebel Companies, Inc., a leading global talent mobility solutions provider, has become the first full-service, global relocation management company to earn an organizational certification in diversity and inclusion from the Human Resource Standards Institute (HRSI). This International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 30415:2021 certification is a seal of excellence which verifies Graebel’s commitment to continual improvement in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is supported with action. It also validates Graebel’s workplace culture is based on integrity, respect, inclusivity, valuing people, fairness, equity and equality.

HRSI℠ certifications enable businesses and HR leaders to ensure their companies’ processes and practices align with global best practices and ISO standards, while also meeting individual organizational goals. The Diversity and Inclusion certification, launched in 2022, is the first certification available for companies from HRSI, and Graebel is one of only six organizations to earn the achievement.

“Graebel committed years ago to build inclusive workplaces through our DEI initiatives,” said Matt Brownlee, Chief Operating Officer of Graebel Companies, Inc. and executive sponsor of Graebel’s Diversity and Inclusion ISO program. “Since then, we’ve been able to create transformative change for our own organization and for our clients and supplier partners, with leadership from Valencia Culbreath, our Global Head of DEI, as well as our 29-member global DEI Council.”

HRSI is a subsidiary of HRCI®, the premier HR credentialing and learning organization with more than 45 years of leadership in HR. The organization has set the global standard for HR expertise and excellence through its commitment to the development and advancement of businesspeople in the people business. Volunteer examiners for HRSI, who are recognized authorities on standards, each one representing a different country, determine the ISO Diversity and Inclusion certification approvals.

The certification is valid for five years and requires Graebel to complete an annual maintenance report demonstrating how the company has continued to promote an inclusive workplace and enhanced employee experience, in conformity with the certification standard.

“As a company in a global industry that works with people of all backgrounds, promoting DEI is integral to creating exceptional experiences for our employees, clients and their mobile employees,” said Patti Wasson, Chief People and Ethics Office of Graebel Companies, Inc. “Not only that, but these values have been woven into Graebel’s DNA since its founding, when Dave Graebel built a company based on truth, love and integrity.”
