Your Home insideMOBILITY – Meet. Share. Connect.

In 2006 it was clear that corporate Mobility leaders wanted a “safe place” where they could compare notes about the challenges and opportunities in their Mobility programs. A dozen or so of these leaders convened for a day-long “Relocation Policy Summit,” and when the meeting adjourned, I think everyone in the room was struck by the value of that meeting. They vowed to get together again.

Fast forward 12 years. The Relocation Policy Summit has morphed into insideMOBILITY®, which is firmly entrenched in our industry. We’ve had the privilege of presenting these meetings around the globe, and the even greater privilege of connecting and learning from hundreds of Mobility leaders who contributed to the events in the EMEA, APAC and Americas regions. What hasn’t changed in 12 years is these are still participant-driven meetings.

Why are insideMOBILITY sessions so popular? The program is unique within the industry in that participants collectively dig into cutting-edge themes and trends. It’s a true exploration – there are no pre-conceived answers. The best practices and solutions that ultimately emerge come from the most informed source: Mobility program leaders.

It helps that the insideMOBILITY agenda topics are timely and locally relevant. In the past few years, you’ve tackled future-focused topics like the emerging workforce, cross-border transfers and technology trends. You’ve explored ways you and your peers can make significant contributions within your organizations, delving into issues like internal integration, sourcing considerations, measuring ROI and implementing Core-Flex programs. And the agendas have included regional concerns such as Brexit, intra-Asia Mobility trends and implications of the 2018 U.S. tax cuts.

Equally important for the participants is the opportunity to connect with each other. To take things off line or just to compare notes. To expand and enhance your professional networks. Those opportunities are built into the agenda and are enhanced by the fun, offsite social events often held in conjunction with the meetings. You’re a well-traveled and adventurous group so it’s not easy finding exceptional venues for these excursions, but the local teams have put together some memorable outings!

2018 has been another banner year for insideMOBILITY with sessions in Denver, Munich, Hong Kong, London and Singapore. Each year the staff pulls together a year-end State of Mobility Report, capturing the highlights of the insideMOBILITY Summits and ancillary sessions that year. For you and other Mobility executives on the go, the annual State of Mobility Report provides an opportunity to step back and look at the big picture. Where the Mobility industry has been. Where it’s going. And most important, how you can apply best practices to make your program a dynamic force within your organization.

With numerous insideMOBILITY events each year, there’s always one right around the corner. Here’s the upcoming calendar:

  • insideMOBILITY Miami  |  February 19-21, 2019
  • insideMOBILITY Geneva  |  May 14-15, 2019
  • insideMOBILITY Singapore  |  September 2019
  • insideMOBILITY London: Global Heads Summit   |  December 2019

For too many years, Mobility has been seen as merely a cost-center and shared service. Now the profession is emerging as a business driver. Commerce is increasingly global, and talent is increasingly mobile. It’s up to you to drive both of those trends to spur the success of your organization.

Just remember that insideMOBILITY is your home away from home to get valuable insights from your peers so you can meet these and related challenges.
